Power Middle East is the world’s largest international exhibition for the power and energy industry, providing exhibitors with thousands of potential customers from the Middle East, Africa and the rest of the world, attracting professionals from over 130 countries worldwide and generating over tens of billions of dollars in trade each year, making it “one of the top five industrial events in the world”. As the region’s leading gathering place for power industry professionals, exhibitors are looking to find new customers, close ties with existing ones and develop or expand their business in the Middle East and Africa. The show will reportedly take place at the World Trade International Exhibition Centre in Dubai, UAE, from 7 to 9 March.

The Middle East International Power, Lighting and New Energy Fair was started in 1975 and is held annually on a grand scale. With the steady growth of international trade in the Middle East region, Power Middle East attracts more and more professionals and senior figures to visit the event.
The 42nd edition of Middle East Power 2017 covered more than 45,000 square metres of exhibition space, a 30% increase on the previous edition, with nearly 1,300 exhibitors; attracting more than 50,000 visitors from 114 countries and regions around the world. The rapid economic development and population growth in the Gulf region has prompted increasing investment in infrastructure in countries across the Middle East, which together with new demand has led to a boom in the power, lighting and new energy markets.
