Polyesterimide Enameled Wire

Polyesterimide enameled wire, also known as PEI enameled wire, is an enameled wire with an insulation layer made of polyesterimide. It is commonly used in a variety of electrical applications where high temperature resistance, thermal stability and excellent electrical properties are required.

Insulation: Polyesterimide is a polymer-based insulating material with excellent thermal and electrical properties. It is known for its excellent resistance to high temperatures, making it suitable for applications where wires are exposed to high temperatures.

Heat resistance rating: Polyesterimide enameled wire is typically classified according to its heat resistance rating of 180 (H). This means that it can be run continuously at temperatures up to 180°C (356°F) without significant degradation of its insulation properties.

Electrical properties: Polyesterimide enameled wire has good electrical insulation and dielectric strength. It has a high breakdown voltage and can effectively handle high voltage applications. The insulation material also has excellent resistance to electrical stress and corona discharge.

High temperature resistance: One of the main advantages of polyesterimide enameled wire is its ability to withstand high temperatures. This makes it suitable for applications such as motors, transformers and generators that generate a lot of heat during operation.

Mechanical strength: Polyesterimide enameled wire has good mechanical strength and wear resistance. It can withstand the mechanical stresses encountered during winding and operation.

Uses: Polyesterimide enameled wire is used in a wide variety of electrical devices and equipment, including motors, transformers, generators, solenoids and other electromagnetic devices. It is commonly used in automotive applications, industrial machinery and high temperature environments where reliable and efficient electrical performance is required.
