Fire-resistant cables
Fire-resistant cable is a special cable that can keep wire and cable operating properly in high temperature and fire environments. This type of cable usually uses special insulation and sheathing materials to ensure that the wire and cable has good fire resistance in harsh environments such as high temperatures, smoke and flame.

The main characteristics of fire-resistant cables are:
1. good performance in high temperature resistance: fire-resistant cable using special insulation materials and sheath materials to keep the normal operation of wire and cable under high temperature conditions, generally can withstand high temperatures of more than 1000 ℃.
2. Inhibit the generation of smoke and toxic gases: fire-resistant cable insulation and sheathing materials can effectively inhibit the generation of smoke and toxic gases, reducing the risk of fire to humans.
3. Good fire resistance: fire-resistant cable insulation and sheath materials can maintain stable physical and chemical properties in a fire to prevent the wire and cable from burning, to ensure the normal operation of the power system.
Fire-resistant cable has a wide range of applications, mainly in electric power systems, petrochemical, subway, tunnels and other places, as well as some occasions with high requirements for fire safety. For example, in places such as subways and tunnels, due to poor air circulation, smoke and toxic gases after the outbreak of fire can easily cause casualties, so it is necessary to use cables with good fire-resistant properties. At the same time, in chemical production, due to the presence of flammable and explosive substances in the production process, it is also necessary to use cables with good fire resistance to ensure production safety.
