Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a polymer material with excellent chemical stability, thermal stability and wear resistance. It is made of polymerized tetrafluoroethylene monomer, a polymer material with linear structure. PTFE has low coefficient of friction, excellent insulation, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, non-stick properties, etc. It is widely used in the manufacture of mechanical seals, electrical insulation materials, chemical pipes, food equipment and other fields.

The main characteristics of PTFE include:
1. excellent chemical stability: PTFE has excellent corrosion resistance, and can withstand the corrosion of various strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, oxidizers and other chemicals.
2. excellent thermal stability: PTFE has a high melting point and thermal decomposition temperature, and can maintain its performance at high temperatures. 3.
3. low coefficient of friction: PTFE has a very low coefficient of friction, making it widely used in mechanical seals, lubricating materials and other fields. 4.
4. Non-stick: PTFE has very good non-stick properties, which can be used to manufacture a variety of materials and devices with non-stick requirements.
5. Excellent electrical insulation: PTFE has excellent electrical insulation properties and can be used in the manufacture of electrical insulation materials and equipment.
PTFE has a wide range of applications, for example, it can be used to manufacture chemical equipment such as sealing gaskets, bearings, pipes, pumps, etc.; electrical equipment such as electronic components, wires and cables, high-frequency cables, etc.; materials and devices for high-temperature fields such as high-temperature lubricating materials, high-temperature bearings, high-temperature sealing materials, etc.; food equipment such as non-stick pans, baking trays, pastry machines, etc.; and medical devices, aerospace devices, etc.
