To achieve this goal, IEEE assumes the role of organizer of several scientific journals and conferences. It is also a broad developer of industry standards in the areas of electrical energy, energy, biotechnology and health care, information technology, information security, communications, consumer electronics, transportation, aerospace technology, and nanotechnology. IEEE is actively developing and participating in the educational field, for example by introducing a school licensing system for electrical engineering courses in higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IEEE produces 30% of the world&#8217;s literature in the fields of electronics and electrical and computer science, and it also produces more than 900 current industry standards.
